Not so fast

March 20, 2016 - The internet has been abuzz with stories of current Army solder Denzel Hosch committing to Georgetown. He's a 5'10" PG originally from Shelby, NC.

Hosch did visit The Hilltop this weekend, but according to a knowledgeable and trusted source, didn't walk away with an offer. G'Town could very well tender one, but as of now hasn't.

Confusion abounds with players, family, coaches and media sources regarding whether schools actually tender scholarship offers; there is not uniformed process, which can lead to assumptions being made by those less experienced.

This is not to say Hosch isn't being evaluated by Georgetown or any team. Just presently hasn't received a Blue and Grey schollie offer.
