Second assistant chosen

May 23, 2016 - Previously we've been the first to reveal the departure of two Georgetown assistant coaches (Kevin Sutton and Tavares Hardy), and the hiring of another (Akbar Waheed). Members of this site are always in the know.

Despite speculation Patrick Ewing, Jr. may be elevated from Director of Basketball Operations to full assistant, reports such as Jon Rothstein's tweet have indicated Anthony Solomon will in fact get the job.

A longtime Notre Dame assistant coach (10 years), Solomon has served two stints in South Bend, IN (2000-03 and 2008-15) while the team has enjoyed tremendous success, getting to seven NCAA Tournaments and going 231-110 during that time.
